Nextier Cabinets Limited Lifetime Warranty

At Nextier Cabinets, we take pride in the quality, craftsmanship, and durability of every cabinet we manufacture and distribute. We stand behind our products with this Limited Lifetime Warranty, providing assurance that your cabinetry is built to perform for years to come.

Warranty Coverage

Nextier Cabinets warrants to the original residential purchaser that its cabinetry, drawer boxes, drawer glides, hinges, and related components will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns the home in which the cabinets were originally installed.

Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to products installed in owner-occupied residential applications within the United States.

No dealer, distributor, installer, salesperson, representative, or employee of Nextier Cabinets is authorized to modify, extend, or enlarge the terms of this warranty.

What Nextier Cabinets Will Do

If a defect in material or workmanship is determined to exist during the warranty period, Nextier Cabinets, at its sole discretion, may:

  • Repair the defective product or component;
  • Replace the defective product or component with a comparable product of equal value and functionality; or
  • Issue a credit for the defective component.

Replacement parts may vary from the original due to changes in product design, finish availability, manufacturing improvements, or natural material variation.

Nextier Cabinets reserves the right to inspect the product and may require photographs, documentation, or return of the defective component before approving a claim.

Hardware Coverage

Cabinet hinges and drawer glides are covered under this Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in material and workmanship under normal residential use.

Should a hardware component fail due to a manufacturing defect, Nextier Cabinets will provide a replacement component or equivalent replacement part.

Natural Characteristics of Wood and Finishes

Wood is a natural product, and no two pieces are exactly alike. Variations in grain pattern, texture, color, mineral streaks, knots, and other naturally occurring characteristics are not considered defects but rather enhance the beauty and uniqueness of the cabinetry.

Over time, exposure to sunlight, artificial lighting, humidity, temperature changes, smoke, household cleaners, and other environmental factors may cause wood and finishes to darken, mellow, fade, or otherwise change in appearance. These natural changes are expected and are not covered under this warranty.

Painted and Glazed Finishes

Many Nextier cabinet finishes are hand-applied or artisan-crafted. As a result:

  • Glazed finishes may exhibit variations in color, intensity, brush marks, drips, or other characteristics inherent to hand-applied finishes.
  • Painted finishes may develop minor hairline cracks, joint lines, or finish separations at door joints due to normal wood expansion and contraction caused by seasonal climate changes.

These conditions are considered normal characteristics of wood cabinetry and are not manufacturing defects.

Environmental Conditions

Cabinetry performs best when installed and maintained in a controlled indoor environment. Excessive moisture, humidity fluctuations, heat exposure, water intrusion, or improper climate conditions may affect cabinet performance and appearance.

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Water leaks or flooding;
  • Excessive humidity or dryness;
  • Fire, smoke, or natural disasters;
  • Exposure to direct heat sources;
  • Improper storage prior to installation;
  • Environmental conditions beyond normal residential use.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear;
  • Scratches, dents, chips, or impacts occurring after delivery;
  • Improper installation, assembly, or handling;
  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, or accidents;
  • Alteration, modification, or repair by unauthorized parties;
  • Improper cleaning products or maintenance practices;
  • Damage caused by transportation, storage, or jobsite conditions after delivery;
  • Products used outdoors;
  • Products installed in recreational vehicles, mobile homes, or marine applications;
  • Display, showroom, clearance, discontinued, or "as-is" products sold without warranty;
  • Labor costs associated with removal, installation, refinishing, adjustment, or replacement;
  • Transportation, shipping, service, travel, or related expenses.

Commercial and Multi-Family Applications

For cabinets installed in commercial properties, rental properties, apartments, offices, multi-family developments, or any non-owner-occupied application, warranty coverage is limited to one (1) year from the date of original purchase.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nextier Cabinets shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use of its products, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, property damage, or costs associated with removal or reinstallation.

All implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusions of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to every purchaser.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, please submit the following information:

  • Original proof of purchase;
  • Purchaser name and contact information;
  • Description of the issue;
  • Photographs clearly showing the claimed defect;
  • Installation address.

Claims must be submitted within thirty (30) days of discovering the issue.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

This Limited Lifetime Warranty constitutes the exclusive warranty offered by Nextier Cabinets and supersedes all prior warranties, whether express or implied, except where prohibited by law.
