Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Nextier Cabinets, we are committed to ensuring your cabinetry arrives safely and in excellent condition. Please review the following shipping and delivery procedures carefully.

Shipping Coverage

Nextier Cabinets ships throughout the continental United States using trusted freight carriers and regional delivery partners. Shipping methods may include parcel carriers, LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight, dedicated delivery services, or warehouse pickup depending on product type and destination.

Shipping Charges

Shipping costs are calculated based on product weight, dimensions, destination, and delivery method selected at checkout. Additional charges may apply for:

  • Residential deliveries
  • Limited-access locations
  • Remote delivery areas
  • Liftgate service
  • Inside delivery requests
  • Re-delivery appointments

Any applicable charges will be communicated prior to shipment.

Order Processing

Most orders are processed within standard lead times based on product availability and manufacturing schedules. Once your order ships, tracking information will be provided via email when available.

Transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Nextier Cabinets is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, labor disruptions, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Delivery Requirements

An adult (18 years or older) must be present to receive and inspect all deliveries.

Standard freight deliveries are curbside delivery only unless additional services have been arranged in advance.

Drivers are not responsible for:

  • Unpacking products
  • Carrying cabinets inside the residence
  • Assembly or installation
  • Removal of packaging materials

Inspection Upon Delivery

It is extremely important that all shipments be inspected before signing the delivery receipt or Bill of Lading (BOL).

Before signing:

  • Inspect all pallets and cartons for visible damage.
  • Verify the number of pieces received matches the shipping documents.
  • Note any damage, shortages, or concerns directly on the delivery receipt.
  • Take photographs of damaged packaging or products.

Even if damage appears minor, write "DAMAGED" on the delivery receipt before signing.

Failure to document visible freight damage at delivery may limit our ability to process claims with the carrier.

Concealed Damage

If concealed damage is discovered after unpacking, it must be reported within five (5) business days of delivery.

Please retain all original packaging materials until the claim has been resolved.

Warehouse Pick-Up Orders

Customers selecting warehouse pickup must inspect all products prior to loading.

By signing the pickup release, the customer acknowledges receipt of the order in satisfactory condition.

Orders not picked up within ten (10) business days of notification may be subject to storage fees and restocking charges.

Damaged or Missing Products

Our goal is to ensure every order arrives complete and in perfect condition.

If items arrive damaged or missing:

  • Report the issue within five (5) business days of delivery.
  • Provide photographs of the affected products and packaging.
  • Include your order number and detailed description of the issue.

Upon review, Nextier Cabinets will determine whether replacement parts, replacement cabinets, repair components, or other resolutions are appropriate

Minor cosmetic blemishes that do not affect structural integrity may be resolved through replacement parts or touch-up solutions rather than full cabinet replacement.

Replacement products become the property of Nextier Cabinets until any requested damaged products are returned or inspected.

Please do not discard damaged items or packaging until instructed by our Customer Support team.

Return Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, eligible products may be returned subject to the following conditions.

Return Window

Return requests must be submitted within fifteen (15) days of receiving your order.

Returns requested after 15 days may be considered at the sole discretion of Nextier Cabinets based on product condition and elapsed time.

Return Eligibility

Products must be:

  • Unused
  • Unassembled
  • In original packaging
  • In resalable condition
  • Accompanied by the original invoice or sales order

All returns require prior written authorization from Nextier Cabinets.

Returns submitted without authorization may be refused.

Non-Returnable Products

The following products are not eligible for return:

  • Cabinets assembled by the customer or Nextier
  • Modified, cut, drilled, painted, or altered products
  • Custom-made or special-order items
  • Products not in original packaging
  • Installed products
  • Moldings, fillers, panels, trim pieces, and accessory components
  • Clearance or discontinued items
  • Products assembled by Nextier Cabinets that are missing components due to customer handling
  • Third-party vendor products designated as non-returnable

Restocking Fees

Approved returns may be subject to the following restocking fees:

  • Unassembled products in original packaging: 5%–10%
  • Factory-assembled products: 20%
  • Special handling returns may incur additional fees

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

For orders shipped with promotional or free shipping, actual outbound shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Refund Processing

Once returned products are received and inspected:

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days after inspection.

Financial institutions may require additional time to post funds.

Order Cancellation & Changes

Because orders are processed quickly, cancellation requests must be submitted as soon as possible.

Cancellation Requests

Cancellation requests must be submitted by email or phone.

Orders may be canceled without penalty if they have not entered production, assembly, or fulfillment.

Once an order has been:

  • Picked
  • Processed
  • Assembled
  • Released to a carrier

Additional fees may apply.

Cancellation Fees

Orders canceled after processing may incur up to a 15% processing fee.

Orders canceled after shipment may incur up to a 25% restocking fee plus freight charges.

Orders already delivered cannot be canceled and must follow the Return Policy.

All cancellations must be confirmed in writing by Nextier Cabinets. If you have not received written confirmation, your order remains active.

Order Changes

Order modifications may be requested prior to production or fulfillment.

Once an order enters processing, changes may not be possible.

Additional items may require a separate order and additional shipping charges.

How to Submit a Return or Damage Claim

To submit a return, replacement, shortage, or damage claim, please provide:

  • Order number
  • Customer name
  • Contact information
  • Description of issue
  • Photographs of products and packaging
  • Proof of purchase

Our Customer Support team typically responds within 1–4 business days.

Limitation of Liability

Nextier Cabinets shall not be responsible for installation costs, labor charges, project delays, loss of use, contractor expenses, or any incidental or consequential damages related to damaged, defective, delayed, or returned products.

Our liability is limited solely to the repair, replacement, credit, or refund of the affected product as determined by Nextier Cabinets.
